Why We Need Your Help

We recieve no government funding and rely wholly on community support to help the over 3000 Australians affected by facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD).

This devastating disease strips away skeletal muscle and robs adults and children of the ability to walk, talk, smile, blink, or eat. Anyone can be affected. 

There is currently no cure, though promising treatments are now in development thanks to recent breakthroughs in research and clinical trials enabled by FSHD Global Research Foundation. Our work benefits not only those affected by neuromuscular conditions but also those impacted by sports injury, aging, or other causes of muscle deterioration.
